  Welcome

The Irish Conker Championships recently won a People of the Year award for local Volunteerism. As its a Community run charity event, we're really chuffed. Play your part in that nomination by volunteering to help us run this event.

Conkers 2012, has just happened. The new champion is Adrian Cahilly, from Threecastles. Watch this space for full results and pics from this years event.

The 14th Irish Conker Championships takes place on Sun 27th October 2013!

We have adult, kids and team competitions to find be best nut swingers in the land! As soon as they drop from the tree we recommend that you start practicing.

There is a real shortage of decent sized conkers this year. If you can collect some and get them to us in Freshford by Friday 26th at the latest, it'd be smashing. First look skywards to assess where the Horsechestnut trees are and then hang your head to scan the ground for all suitable nuts. We need conkers that are big enough to drill and string up. Unfortunately little ones look cute but are no good in the cutthroat world on Conkering. If you have a large harvest, get in touch with us and we can talk about collecting them from you. Thanks Conker Ambassadors!
